Valley of the Moon
Located near São Jorge, it received its name for its rocks that look like the lunar soil.

Macaquinhos Waterfall
Located close to Alto Paraíso, it has several waterfalls and its beauty impresses visitors.
You have to hike for about an hour to reach Cachoeira dos Macaquinhos, but along the way you can visit about 10 waterfalls and water wells along the way.

The Santa Bárbara Waterfall is 30 meters high and has an ideal pool for bathing in shades of crystalline turquoise blue.
It is good to know that the length of stay at this waterfall is limited, due to the large flow of tourists.
Each group of 50 people can stay up to one hour at the waterfall and the maximum limit is 300 people per day. Plan your tour in advance and arrive early.
Crystal Waterfall
Located 8 km from Alto Paraíso, the Cachoeira dos Cristais has several wells and waterfalls for bathing.
Its trail is unique, but with several exits on the right, each one is worth visiting.
The total route is short and very easy to follow, it takes less than 500m to reach the waterfall.
The place also has a restaurant, shop, bathrooms, tables and wooden decks to relax. It’s a great choice for a walk with the kids.
